Geo Caching

Progneto’s Personal GeoCaching Web Site

I found my first GeoCache on April 23, 2002. Since then, I have found over 140 GeoCaches. Most GeoCachers have an alias they use, my GeoCaching name is Progneto. My son, WolfBlade and I enjoy GeoCaching and we try to get out as much as we can. At the time of this update, we have found 84 GeoCaches. We have hidden 4 Traditional Caches, we have one Virtual Cache and we have released one Travel Bug into the GeoCaching world!

Locationless, or Reverse, Caches are now called “Waymarks”. The originator if the cache gives a subject or a theme to other GeoCachers and they go out and find the subject. They log where they saw this subject or theme and log the coordinates and include photographs. Click Here to go to

Waymarks require that you take a photograph of the subject with your GPS receiver in the shot or you can have a friend hold it in the photo. This way, the Cache owner knows that you really did go to the cache location specifically for the cache.
